A selection of music, video, audio, and storytelling projects I’ve worked on across mixing, mastering, editing, colour grading, voice-over recording, music production, and creative development.
Every project has its own purpose. Some are built around performance. Some are built around research, advocacy, or public communication. Some are designed to capture a live moment. Others are about helping an artist or organisation communicate something clearly and emotionally.
My role is always the same: to understand what the project is trying to say, then support that message through intentional sound and visual storytelling.

Project focus:
This project was about preserving the feel of a live performance while giving the recording the clarity, balance, and emotional impact needed for release.
Outcome:
The final mix preserved the natural energy and intimacy of the live performance while giving the track the clarity, balance, and emotional impact needed for release. The aim was to keep the performance feeling real and human, while ensuring the finished audio translated professionally for listeners. This video hit over 2k views in 24 hours from posting
Help & Care — Disabled People’s Access to Cancer Services
A research-focused video created for Help & Care, exploring Disabled people’s access to cancer services.
My role:
Video editing, voice-over recording, music production, mixing, and mastering.
Project focus:
This was a deeply meaningful project built around real experiences and important research. The aim was to support the message with clarity, sensitivity, and emotional care, ensuring the final video felt human, respectful, and accessible.
Outcome
The final video helped turn important research and lived experience into a clear, accessible, and emotionally sensitive piece of communication. Through editing, voice-over recording, original music production, mixing, and mastering, the project was shaped to support the message with care and clarity, helping the subject matter feel human, respectful, and impactful. This video has since been delivered at NHS conferences to help improve Disability Access.
Foundry Live — Foundry TV
The first episode of Foundry Live on Foundry TV, created as part of the Foundry Studios project.
My role:
Video editing, audio syncing, titles, and transitions.
Project focus:
The goal was to shape a live studio performance into a clean, watchable, and professional video format while keeping the energy of the performance intact.
Outcome
The finished episode transformed a live studio performance into a polished and engaging video format for Foundry TV. The edit, audio syncing, titles, and transitions helped create a professional viewing experience while keeping the energy and authenticity of the live session intact.
Original Video Project
A self-contained video project written, filmed, edited, colour graded, and completed by Jay.
My role:
Writing, filming, colour grading, editing, titles, transitions, audio recording, and audio syncing.
Project focus:
This project demonstrates a full start-to-finish creative process, bringing together visual planning, filming, editing, colour, sound, and storytelling into one finished piece.
Outcome
The completed video brought together writing, filming, editing, colour grading, audio recording, syncing, titles, and transitions into a fully realised creative piece. The result demonstrates a start-to-finish storytelling process, where every visual and audio decision was shaped to support the message and emotional tone of the project.
